Media Releases are an ideal way to get your message out about something that you or your business is doing. They really are quite simple to construct if you use Kipling’s famous words
“I keep six honest serving-men
(They taught me all I knew);
Their names are What and Why and When
And How and Where and Who.”
What is the story
Who is involved?
When did/will it happen
Why is this on interest?
How much does it cost?
Where can I see it or buy it?
Now for my special tip, make sure to include a client or third party quote, it adds all the power to your message. If you cannot find a 3rd party quote then by ball means quote yourself.
Go on issue a press realease and issue it to the world. Search “free media release service” on Google and starting telling the world about your success. Remember to send a copy to clients.

What is your twitter marketing strategy?
Now, I’m pretty proud of this question, I bet it caught your attention.
It’s also the dumbest question I could ask.
It’s like asking what’s your postcard marketing strategy or your networking strategy.
You see, twitter, postcards and networking are marketing tactics; their job is to help you achieve your goal/strategy.
Your twitter marketing strategy should be the same as your overall marketing strategy, no difference or conflict.
So what is your overall marketing strategy, how do you want to be thought of by prospect and clients?
Now here’s how twitter can help and I would like to thank Andy Lopata for this pointer. Be nice to Andy, he supports Charlton! Andy suggests that we ask people who know us for the three adjectives that describe us from their point of view.
Now, unfortunately lots won’t respond to this simple request. Maybe it’s too difficult or two personal, but I encourage you to ask. Hearing about how others see you is powerful. When you marry your strategy with how others see you, you are into something special and unique, the real you.
Now go ask on twitter!

How to Discover your Difference?
Simply ask yourself “What would the world miss, if my business ceased trading today?”
What would it be?
A tip, it isn’t your products or services.
It’s not your pricing or systems.
Anybody can copy those.
What can’t they copy?
That’s your difference.
Now go tell the world about it.

Do you have a mixture?
